Project Description : The government of Thailand has a policy to promote the inland waterway and rail transportation and multimodal transportation system in order to reduce reliance on road transport as well as to reduce the overall transport cost. The Marine Department, in line with the government policy, has allocated budget to build the inland river port at Ang-Thong province. The governor of Ang-Thong has therefore commissioned the consultants to study and recommend infrastructure improvement and logistics activities to provide the logistics system to support the Ang Thong port project.
