Profile of Project:
The Administration of Development Innovation Building is 1 in 3 buildings of Prasanmit Complex. The concept design proposes 2 Basement car park for 720 cars. , offices , football field and linkage to Asoke Montri Road. This project has objective for development learning environment , accessibility economic at Asoke Montri Road , zoning activities and future traffic in the university.
Construction method is used diaphragm wall and basement floor with top-down construction that has ground floor for permanent bracing. Diaphragm Wall thickness 0.80 m. depth 16 m. and 18.5 m. for excavation 7.30 m. that is design by Finite Element Method with PLAXIS programe.
During construction the contractor installed 3 instruments to inspect the effect from excavation. The instruments are Inclinometer 10 points , Tiltmetor 4 points and Settlement Plate 70 points.
Along this project , the contractor must prepare temporary car park not less than 127 cars , if the contractor make diaphragm wall beside temporary car park it make temporary road and new temporary car park in middle of site and everyday it must avoid placing concrete or truck coming in site at times 7.00 – 9.00 a.m. and 3.30 – 7.00 p.m. to control traffic in the university.
