Project Description: The Nam Kam Basin Development project was initiated by His Majesty King Bhumibol in 1992 in order to help people along the both sides of Nam Kam river being out of the flood trouble in rainy season and water shortage in dry season. The project can supply water for agriculture and domestic use and also prevent flood. The project area is located in Sakon Nakorn and Nakorn Phanom provinces covering the area of 96,000 ha

The firm conducts a feasibility study, environmental impact assessment study and a detailed design of regulators and intake structures for construction in Nam Kam and Nam Bang rivers. Besides, the dredging work in ditches, canals, and natural swamps are carried out while the intercept drains are also designed to construct at the north of some regulators to have more efficiency in preventing flood. Moreover a study in water quality land ownership and properties survey as well as a resettlement plan and compensation for the people effected by the project construction are carried out by our firm.

The firm supervise the construction of Headwork Regulator and accessory components. The project components include : 4 – 10mx9m Fixed Wheel Roller Gate with 1,200 cms, 3 – 2cms Vertical Mixed Flow pumps, 970 m long of 2 m bed width of concrete lining canal, 700 m long of 3.5 m bed width reinforce concrete canal, Road and flood protection system, office building and residential house.
